Erez Tocker announced as new CEO of Trinity College London



Trinity College London has announced global education leader Erez Tocker as its new Chief Executive after Sarah Kemp stepped down from the role following 13 years at the helm.

Erez Tocker, an international leader in education and digital transformation, was previously Managing Director, International at world-leading assessment, teaching and learning provider Renaissance Learning.

He brings to Trinity a wealth of experience, including his founding and leadership of the technology start-up Oxford English China and a decade of driving growth at Kaplan International.

Trinity said in a statement: "Erez has been an important figure in education and education technology for the last 20 years and he brings with him experience in the fields of assessment, practice and instruction on a global scale.

"Throughout his career, Erez has been passionate about how education can transform lives, with a focus on applying technology in education and scaling up great education solutions and services globally."

On behalf of Trinity's Board of Trustees, Chair of Trustees Mark Damazer, CBE paid tribute to her, saying: "Sarah has made an outstanding contribution to Trinity.”

Erez Tocker said: "I am honoured to join such a deeply established and much-loved organisation with its talented team and long history of advancing education and assessment.”

"I want to build on previous achievements by Sarah and the team and I look forward to meeting with staff, partners, examiners, volunteers, supporters, teachers and students, and working together to make a difference to more people across the world in developing their passions and skills."
